We are six founders with experience from the oil, fish and tech industry.
We cooperate closely with local vendors, investors, research institutes and government agencies.

TAU tech has deep roots in the maritime cluster of Møre. We are all born and raised by the clean, cold waters of the beautiful fjords of Sunnmøre and the open, harsh North Atlantic Ocean. We believe this has shaped the way our company shows utmost respect and admiration for the ocean. Our great enthusiasm for the sea and our heritage has gifted us long experience and knowledge in shipbuilding, fisheries, equipment development, marine biology and advanced subsea operations in some of the deepest parts of the seas.
The salt in our veins has shaped our hearts.
